Flooded Attic

Drywall is a porous material, meaning it contains spaces or holes through which allow liquid or air to pass through. When affected it is important to cut that affected material out to prevent further damage. This client called us after his water heater located in the attic caused damage to his bathroom ceiling. You can see in the before photo the ceiling is wet and if left unattended could cause a number of other problems. SERVPRO of North Central went on site and removed the wet ceiling and insulation so we could properly dry the structure out.
