San Antonio Tornado Damage

This bathroom in San Antonio, TX was the result of roof damage caused by a tornado and followed by heavy rains. In the first photograph, the drywall was completely saturated with moisture. And behind the drywall was insulation that was also saturated.   Quick response by the customer and SERVPRO of North Central San Antonio eliminated any chance of secondary damage. In the after picture you will notice SERVPRO of North Central San Antonio had to remove areas of the drywall in order to remove the insulation. Once removed we set our equipment to dry out the framing and other materials affected by the rain.  Our customer was expecting a much longer process and was extremely happy with the results. SERVPRO of North Central San Antonio was able to walk the homeowner through the water mitigation process.
